The founder, Professor Ernesto
E. Blanco, is a mechanical engineer from
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, class of 1956,
where he has taught in several occasions. He is,
at present, a Professor of Mechanical
Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology in the area of creative engineering
design, where he has
been teaching for the last 28 years.
His interest lies in the teaching of the
invention process. During the last seven years
at MIT his class has earned
seven patents in seven semesters, a record
unequalled in any other institution. He
currently holds almost 180 patents and
applications in various fields, from consumer
products to sports equipment, automotive,
medical, neuroscience devices, arthroscopy, and
ophthalmology. He has frequently served as an
expert witness in patient litigation cases such
as the famous Festo case which became a landmark
in present litigation circles.
He established the following successful
companies: Powerline Corporation (design of
connectors for high tension transmission power
lines); Flip it Corporation (design of automatic
pancake cooking systems); Universal Textile
Machine Corporation (design of knitting needle
electronic detectors); Opthalmic Ventures Ltd.
(design of advanced ophthalmic surgical
instrumentation); and a private consulting
corporation. |

Lt.Col.
Ricardo J. Blanco, USMC (Ret) is an engineering
graduate from the U.S. Naval Academy and holds
advanced degrees from the U.S. Army Command and
General Staff College and the U.S. Army War
College.
During his 25 1/2 years of commissioned service
as a Marine Artillery Officer, he held a number
of command and staff positions within the United
States and overseas to include advisor duty
during the Salvadoran Civil War, and as a member
of the staff of the Commanding General during
Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Operation
Restore Hope (Somalia) and Operation Iraqi
Freedom (Iraq).
He joined ERBLAN as Vice President upon his
return from Operation Iraqi Freedom and
subsequent retirement from
the Marines in 2004. He also holds a position
with a leading technology consulting firm where
he specializes in combat systems engineering.

Mr.
Richard Stanley is an honors graduate of Colgate
University and holds law degrees from Southern
Methodist University and Boston University.
For 25 years he has held
positions of responsibility with the Federal
government and major financial institutions
where he has negotiated and drafted agreements
with foreign banks for securities custody and
settlement, as well as foreign exchange.
His experience and expertise have ranged from
banking and securities regulations to
derivatives trading and shareholder disclosure
rules. He has published law review articles on
bankruptcy and on securities custody. He serves
as Secretary
and Corporate Counsel to ERBLAN
Surgical.

Dr.
Gil Wilshire, MD is a Reproductive
Endocrinologist, a Fellow of the American
College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG)
and an experienced laparoscopic surgeon.
He obtained his medical degree from the Robert
Wood Johnson Medical School, and completed his
fellowship in Reproductive Medicine at UMDNJ-New
Jersey Medical School.
In addition to his duties as Medical Director of
ERBLAN Surgical, Inc., Dr. Wilshire is the
Medical Director of Technology Catalysts
International (TCI) in Falls Church, Virginia,
and is on the staff at Sibley Memorial Hospital
in Washington, DC..
